Protecting Your Rattan

DOs:

Dust the surface weekly using a soft cotton cloth
Vacuum rattan with a brush attachment
Treat mildew or spillages immediately and dry the rattan extremely well to avoid mould

DON’Ts:

Avoid using excessive water to clean rattan as it can distort the wicker and dry in an unnatural position
Don't place rattan outside or in direct sunlight as it can cause damage and discolouration
Never use polish or paint thinners
Avoid dragging your furniture when moving it, always lift
